Prices for astronomical conversion WITHOUT filter:
This conversion is standard for all DSLRs. Advantage: New models do not need an astronomical filter, because the original filter unit consists of several parts and only some of them need to be converted to achieve higher H-alpha sensitivity. An H-alpha sensitivity of approx. 80-85 % is possible with this conversion.
All prices include the cost of alteration and focus alignment to delivery conditions. The sensor cleaning function and live view are retained.

Prices for astronomical SPECIAL conversion:
These special conversions are available for nearly all the models named above. Only our company can offer you conversions of his scope! The advantage: A significant increase in H-alpha sensitivity of 98%. In this case, the sensor cleaning function ceases to be operational. The increased sensitivity will be achieved by replacing the original IR/UV pass filter. The result of this alteration is more powerful than a conversion using a BCF filter and represents the maximum possible in astronomical conversions.
All prices include the cost of conversion, the special astronomical filter, and focus alignment to delivery conditions. The sensor cleaning function ceases to be operational, live view is retained.

Prices for astronomical conversion WITH filter:
This conversion is standard for older DSLR models without a sensor cleaning function and respectively for all Nikon cameras. The correct auto focus function is retained. An H-alpha sensitivity of 98% can be achieved with this conversion.

Price for conversion using neutral glass (clear glass):
This conversion is of interest for infrared photography. It allows the IR-photographer to use an IR-pass filter as a lens filter or a clip-on filter. The camera is sensitive to UV in visible to deep IR light and can therefore be used under any conditions with lens filters.
All prices include the cost of conversion and clear glass. The auto focus is aligned for daylight. The sensor cleaning function and live view are retained.

Prices for infrared conversion with a Schott/Hoya filter substrate:
This conversion is for IR photographers who want a built-in IR-pass filter in their camera. We can organize and assemble almost every glass substrate for you. Typical glasses for IR photography range from the Schott RG 610 to the famous Hoya R72 to Schott RG 1000 – you decide which filter will be assembled.
All prices include the cost of conversion and the chosen filter. The sensor cleaning function ceases to be operational, and live view is retained. The auto focus is aligned for daylight.

Prices for infrared conversion WITHOUT a filter:
This conversion is useful only for photography in laboratory conditions. Since all the built-in filters are removed, the focal position will be relocated to such an extent that it will not be possible for most of the lenses to get the picture in focus when the focus of the lens is adjusted to infinite (e.g., for landscape pictures). With a clear glass conversion, this problem can be avoided. This conversion can also be useful for astronomical photography if you want to use your own IR/UV pass filter.
The sensor cleaning function ceases to be operational due to the removal of the entire filter unit. Live view is retained if is exists.

Will my conversion be covered by a warranty?
Because we are very sure of our order processing and the quality of our camera modifications, we provide not only excellent value for money but also a generous warranty up to 5 years for our work – at no extra charge:

- Your camera will be returned to you functioning properly and professionally converted, if the camera was functioning properly before the conversion.
- A 3-year warranty against the image quality being affected negatively by the inner filter parts (i.e., against problems such as glass blindness, new embedded dust, glass that is cracked due to tension, etc.)
- A 3-year warranty for full electronic functionality of all loosened plug connections and solder points (including in the sensor cleaning function if one exists).
- A 5-year warranty for the stability of our focal correction for flange focal distance
- A 5-year warranty for secure setting of built-in filters (all conversions).

Important note: All warranty claims are valid only if the converted DSLRs have been used appropriately!
